As an IT security specialist, you protect systems, identify vulnerabilities and ensure that sensitive data remains safe. You can design your application flexibly and independently, focusing on technical IT areas: IT security & IT governance: The team is responsible for monitoring and protecting our systems as well as customer data (including risk analysis, protection measures, regulation). IT infrastructure & network: We provide a reliable and secure basis (including network security, server operation, cloud). Data analysis & AI: Here, suspected behavior and irregularities are detected and degenerated at an early stage (e.g.: data evaluation, pattern recognition, irregularities).

You start on August 1st and change regularly between practice phases with us and theories at the university. Azubi Project: You are actively promoting your own topics in the company during your studies and gaining first experience in project management. In-house seminars: Targeted seminars help you to successfully complete. Flexible and independent deployment planning – all business units are open to you.

You can expect that from your studies: A technically oriented study at the Leibniz University of Applied Sciences in Hannover, which shows you how digital systems work and how to protect them. The study is divided into three phases: Basics: You get technical and mathematical basics (including: programming (C++), algorithms, databases, networks and operating systems). In addition, the introduction to project management comes. 2nd year of study, IT security in focus: You learn how attacks work and how to prevent them, with insight into cloud computing, AI and data analytics (including cryptology, IT security bases and handling of IT risks). 3rd year of study, specialization and practice: IT governance, forensics and IT law. You choose a focus, either system technology (cryptoanalysis, mobile software development) or security management (social engineering, IT process management).

You've got at least the professional school. Your last two testimonials are at least 2.33. You have very good knowledge of German in word and writing (C1 level). In school, you've been enjoying mathematics or computer science. No special IT knowledge required. Programming, networks and security concepts are built up from scratch. You are looking for new technologies and want to develop in this area. You are motivating, reliable and independent – your team can rely on you.

Attractive training allowance of monthly over 1.350 euros at 35 hours per week and 30 days vacation per year. We take your tuition fees and the travel costs to the university. Our campus in Braunschweig is generous and green and offers a lot of space for working and learning from the quiet learning area to the open working area. In the canteen there are freshly cooked dishes daily, also vegetarian and vegan, and short paths, modern facilities as well as a good connection make everyday work pleasant.
