(Senior) SAP FI/CO Inhouse Consultant - Finance Innovation Job (g.n.)

In this strategic key role, you work directly at the interface of specialist, SAP system and future technologies – with real budget for experiments, enormous design space and clear perspective, to take a visible expert role or to build your own team. In close cooperation with Finance Operations, you actively shape the processes in the SAP FI environment. You analyze existing weaknesses and drive the change to a data-driven organization. Take the pragmatic customizing as well as the further development of SAP FI (including debugging) and accompany topics from the first idea to the interface support (IDoc, APIs, BTP) to the stable operation. You drive innovative lighthouse projects forward. Typical topics are AI-assisted consolidation of input bills, automation in billing workflow (xSuite/xFlow), modern reporting structures and AI-based final processes. You immerse yourself in a highly complex, historically grown system landscape (approximately 1,000 booking circuits, SAP ECC) and accompany the S/4HANA transformation as a central player until the end of 2026. You act as a central contact person for specialist areas and key users, translate requirements quickly into technical solutions and coordinate third-party systems and add-ons (e.g. Serrala for Payments/Autobank).

You bring multi-year, well-founded professional experience as SAP FI Consultant with deep hands-on expertise in the system (customizing, settings, ideally first S/4HANA transformation experience). You are absolutely safe in the FI modules (GL/NewGL, AP, AR, AA): Ideally, you will bring experience with modern technologies (SAP HANA, Fiori/UI5, SAP BTP/Cloud) and interfaces. You've got a strong consultant set. You question the status quo, take responsibility and burn for the topics of automation and AI. You are not a pure concept worker, but you are actively driving innovative thoughts to the implementation in the system. You have the pleasure of building structures in an environment that is partly still in development. Very good knowledge of German as well as good English skills complete your profile perfectly (min. C1 level).
