Support and accompaniment of people with diabetes mellitus (all forms of diabetes) and nutritional problems in outpatient and inpatient care settings Use of modern diabetes technology Organization and implementation of individual and group training for people with diabetes mellitus and nutritional problems Development of nutritional regimens by oral, enteral and/or parenteral nutrient feed and their course observation and adaptation Working in interdisciplinary teams Care of patients from the various departments (e.g. General Internal Medicine and Geriatrics, Visceral Surgery, Oncology, Gastroenterology, Bariatric Surgery)

have a degree as a nutritionist or comparable university degree and have a successfully completed training for/to the diabetes counselor/in or diabetes assistant (DDG) or are already in this training practice an independent and structured way of working are characterized by team skills, flexibility and commitment sensitive, patient-oriented and responsible are identify with the aims of a Christian hospital
