IT Data Engineer with a focus on software development and project management (m/f/d)

As an IT data engineer (m/w/d), you develop various applications/solutions for the KVV Group (e.g. energy, public transport, network or power plant) on our digitalization platform, taking into account the corporate requirements of the IT strategy or IT security. The takeover of responsibility in the field of multi-project management and requirements management of new digitization requests is also part of your task. You develop independently and/or in the team various applications on our digitalization platform, which include systems such as inubit (Middleware / BPM Engine), Simplifier (Application Development) or UIPath (Robotic Process Automation). The topics Data Ingestion, Transformation, Storage and Presentation of various data sources are also part of your task portfolio. You develop interfaces for offering and distributing data, support the team in building and expanding our data warehouse solution. You capture workflows, abstract them and transfer them to automation requirements. You coordinate and work with our external service providers of the platform and ensure compliance with our technological framework and development requirements.

You have successfully completed a completed study (Bachelor) of Business Informatics or Mathematics with the focus on IT or can provide a comparable training. Ideally, you bring several years of professional experience in related tasks as well as in project management. You have very good knowledge of data architectures including the design of data structures. You can demonstrate sound programming experience in the relevant programming languages for data transformation (e.g. Python, Java, PL 7 SQL etc.). Ideally, you have first experiences with the systems of our digitalization platform (inubit, simplifier, UIPath or PowerBI) and are familiar with LowCode platforms. You bring knowledge of German as well as specialist knowledge of English. You can think analytically and networked and act independently and targeted You value cross-border cooperation.
