Engineer Gas Network Strategy & Asset Management - Temporary until 31.03.2028 (m/f/d)

Development and development of strategic concepts for a sustainable gas network infrastructure Target network planning and technical requirements for refurbishment, new and rebuilding measures Development of cost- and risk-oriented investment, maintenance and rebuilding strategies in the sense of sustainable asset management Implementation of network calculations and evaluation of network technical issues in medium and low-pressure networks Testing and evaluation of the feeding of renewable gases (e.g. biomethane and hydrogen) and the connection of decentralised production plants Developing technical standards and deriving economic recommendations for safe and efficient network operation Cooperation in strategic projects and active participation in the transformation of gas networks during the energy transition

Complete technical master studies, e.g. energy technology, gas engineering, grid technology, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or electrical engineering Professional experience in the energy sector, ideally in the field of gas networks Experience in the analysis and development of strategies for the continued operation and re-defence of gas networks Knowledge of project management and the planning and evaluation of energy systems Safe handling of relevant IT systems (e.g. GIS/Lovion, MS Office, SAP) Structured, independent and flexible working methods with a high self-initiative and willingness to design Interest in new technologies and strong sense of responsibility and willingness to continue training
