The University of Duisburg-Essen (UDE) is looking for a:n at Campus Essen in the Department of Building Management, Construction Project Management

Projektleiter:in (m/d) with building function (debate group 12 TV-L) The team of the construction project management represents the interests of the UDE over the entire planning and construction process for new construction, renovation and new construction projects of the state-owned buildings, which are made available to the university by the construction and real estate company NRW. It also designs, builds, refurbished and modernises its own properties, which are very different in architectural and technical terms. The UDE's building portfolio includes, among other things, research buildings with highly specialised laboratory rooms, teaching and event areas, administrative buildings, libraries, and sports facilities. The distribution of the buildings takes place on the two campus Essen and Duisburg as well as on additional locations (external properties) in the city area of the two cities in the Ruhr area.

You take over the technical support of the faculties in the realization of construction projects in cooperation with other departments, engineers and external organizations. You are responsible for the planning and implementation of particularly complex and significant construction projects of the university in the function of the project management with the perception of the property in all phases of the performance of HOAI. You take care of the creation or testing of designs related to high-tech specialty properties of the university (natural science interdisciplinary research buildings). You sign approval planning for the modification or construction and the termination of buildings as responsible:r planner:in (construction template permission) for the university. You shall take care of the implementation and monitoring of tender procedures in accordance with VOB, VOL/VgV, including the preparation and testing of award documents. You take over the project management in all project stages and areas of action of AHO (Heft No.9). You are responsible for the acceptance and settlement of construction services and the building management on site. You shall examine the corrective action after the transfer and the warranty obligations of the exporting companies. You are responsible for the planning, construction monitoring, billing and acceptance of small conversion measures and construction projects related to vocations.

Bachelor, Master of Architecture or a similar degree with a focus on building and/or planning skills relevant professional experience in building planning routined handling of common laws and regulations such as: LBO NRW, BauGB, VOB, VOL/VgV, ASR, DGUV, TRGS etc. Experiences in dealing with IT and the apps used such as MS-Office and CAD; first experiences with BIM are of advantage. strong own initiative, organisational talent, team skills and flexibility, negotiation skills and linguistic expressiveness.
