Head of Accounting / Accountant in the Real Estate Industry (m/w/d)

On behalf of an economically healthy, owner-operated group based in the eastern Ruhr region, we are looking for an experienced specialist in accounting and accounting. With around 30 employees, the family-run group manages its own, grown real estate portfolio of approx. 100 objects - including commercial, office, warehouse and residential areas. The position provides space for development and is ideal for candidates with a well-founded expertise who have either already gained first leadership experience or are willing to grow into a central role. Personal responsibility is possible, but no compelling requirement. It is crucial: They are the first point of contact for management when it comes to burdensome numbers and entrepreneurial arrangements - and for the tax advisor when it comes to structure and reliability What makes this house special? The location of use: Dortmund

They are responsible for the entire accounting system of the holding structure including liquidity planning, budget management and cost-benefit analyses. They prepare monthly, quarterly and annual accounts and prepare the final accounts for the tax advisor. They act as the first contact person for tax advisors, auditors and internal colleagues. They are responsible for all tax topics - from sales tax to commercial tax to property financing. They provide the management with reliable figures, comprehended with recommendations for action.

You have a well-founded professional experience as an accounting officer or tax specialist (m/w/d) - ideally focusing on real estate. They work independently, think analytic and communicate clearly - also with non-balance sheet-trained decision-makers. They bring very good knowledge in DATEV; Experience with Karthago 2000 or another real estate software is a plus, but not a must. They feel comfortable in medium-sized structures - close to the management, with freedom of design and responsibility.
