You run a dedicated platform and support team professionally and disciplinefully You promote engagement, growth and responsibility through regular feedback and target agreements You promote a mentality of continuous improvement of all processes You ensure a stable, secure and performant operation across various Unix/Linux-based systems You will refine deployment and configuration processes (e.g. Ansible) to increase efficiency and minimize manual interventions You manage and scale Kubernetes cluster and coordinate with open source tools such as Kafka and Cassandra to reconcile stability, costs and performance You monitor and optimize databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL), including performance optimization, backups and failover strategies You are evaluating new technologies and solutions to improve performance, availability and scalability within an open source ecosystem You develop an effective standby model to ensure a round-the-clock coverage You act as an escalation point for critical incidents and in close cooperation with external partners: inside or outside: inside for a quick solution You define clear responsibilities and communication paths for quick problem solving You work closely with cross-functional teams (DevOps, Product Management, Leadership) to align the operation of the platform to the core business objectives You provide regular updates on system performance, project milestones and resource needs You initiate cross-departmental projects to streamline workflows, promote innovation and strengthen cooperation across the company

You have leadership experience and proven success in managing or coordinating technical teams You have technical expertise in Unix/Linux administration, open source automation tools (e.g. Ansible), Kubernetes and databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL). Experiences with Kafka, Cassandra and similar technologies are beneficial You have problem-solving competence and the ability to diagnose, prioritise and solve complex operational problems under pressure You have communication skills and the ability to effectively convey technical facts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including external partners:inside or customer You are thrilled to learn continuously and stay up to date with the emerging open source technologies and best practices in the industry
