Intellectual Property, appropriate IP strategies are being developed for the Group in order to best support the business models of the Business Units and subsidiaries. We actively support the growth orientation of LANXESS and the Group's innovation activities and are therefore looking for reinforcement by an IP Counsel. We take care of all the core tasks of industrial legal protection. We offer you an independent activity in a flexible and mobile working environment, as well as the opportunity to design and anchor the IP-relevant topics in the Group. For university graduates: we support the training of the European Patent Attorney and the German patent attorney.

Development of IP strategies for business units and subsidiaries as part of the corporate strategy and the associated innovation strategy Processing of the worldwide patent applications, grant, opposition and appeal proceedings, as well as representation of the Group companies in the associated oral proceedings before patent offices and relevant courts Creation of patent reports/Freedom-to-operate analyses Benchmarking of LANXESS IP Activities on IP Port Films of Other Market Participants Enforcement of rights to third parties IP-side support of acquisition and divestment projects of the Group Creation and negotiation of all technology-oriented contracts

Successfully completed studies in the field of chemistry, preferably with doctorate or the subject of chemical engineering (master degree) Preferably professional experience in the IP area, preferably in an IP department of industry or patent attorney law firm Knowledge, interest and joy in digital IP workflows, data analytics, and other digital topics Very good conceptual and communicative skills Outstanding sense of responsibility, self-employment, initiative and commitment flowing English skills in word and writing
