As a Category Manager Technology / Smart Home / IoT (gn), you will recognize innovations before You are on the shelf - and bring them right there. You support the relevant buyer in the planning and implementation of our Smart Home range strategy. Trendscouting: From the identification of new trends, trade fair visits to suppliers and competitive analyses, you will always deal with all aspects of the assortment purchase, with your purchaser always helping you with advice and deed. Development & Counselling: You develop into the central contact for enquiries about your product range by working directly on the product, engaging purchasing and innovation concepts independently and advancing our product range as well as our SMART HOME by hornbach platform. Sourcing Support: Last but not least, you will analyze relevant key figures, prepare them targeted in presentations and take the preparation of assortment lists and supplier negotiations.

Qualification: You have successfully completed your studies - ideally in the field of BWL, trade management, supply chain management or industrial engineering - or a comparable training and brings a high affinity to technology assortments. Shopping expertise: You have a sense of innovation and have first shopping experience about assortment knowledge and a basic understanding of the product applications in the area of Smart Home / IoT / Robotics.
