Senior Consultant (m/w/d) in the Clinic and Polyclinic for Psychiatry

As of 1 August 2025, fulltime and parttime employment must be fixed at least 34 hours per week for 48 months. Remuneration takes place according to the classification rules of the respective domestic collective agreement and is possible in the case of the personal conditions in the remuneration group A1.

Psychic disorders increase significantly. Mental health is an essential prerequisite for quality of life, performance and social participation. Your tasks:

Conduct anamnese and psychiatric diagnostics in patients

Creation and adaptation of therapy plans (medicamental and psychotherapeutic)

Participation in visits and interdisciplinary case meetings

Monitoring the course of therapy and documentation

Implementation of crisis interventions and emergency management

Participation in training, supervision and, if necessary, own research projects

successfully completed study of human medicine with successful approval (German recognition of foreign degrees must be available) completed or advanced promotion Clinical experience in psychiatry and psychotherapy Interest in developing and implementing new forms of treatment such as station equivalent treatment and outpatient intensive care in PIA Motivation to develop and implement individual treatment plans Commitment to support patient resources and management strategies Interest in scientific questions in psychiatry and psychotherapy, especially young adults, dependency diseases and age psychiatry Openness for the evaluation and further development of innovative treatment concepts
