ZEISS Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology Enabler for smaller, more powerful and more energy-efficient microchips

The Zeiss SMT is looking for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer (m/w/x) at the Oberkochen site in the area of Manufacturing Control. Lateral management of the production control team: as a senior manufacturing engineer you form the clamp function of a powerful production team for an SMT product.

Monitoring of material stocks: They control material stocks, production progresses and ranges based on KPIs and initiate targeted measures to optimize stocks and reduce residues.

Ensuring material supply: Together with your team, you will ensure material supply and timely compliance with the production plan.

Implementation of improvement measures: They actively promote the implementation of stabilisation and improvement measures, based on key figures and regular tracking.

Responsibility for master data: They are responsible for the master data installation and maintenance for production control in SAP.

Visualization and presentation: You visualize, present and evaluate the progress of production orders and develop alternatives in case of disturbances together with the internal stakeholders (e.g. production, product planner, disposition).

Drive IT projects forward: You are part of IT projects within your department or initiate them and actively promote their operational implementation.

Academic background: You have successfully completed your studies in engineering, BWL/VWL with a focus on supply chain management, logistics or material management.

Professional experience: You have several years of professional experience in production planning and control or material management.

Expertise: They have extensive expertise in the application, determination and preparation of key figures and are able to interpret them in order to derive measures from them.

Project management: You have well-founded project management experience, preferably at the operating customer interface.

IT competencies: You have experience in dealing with SAP R/3 (MM, PP, WM) in a complex production and material environment and are safe to handle the current MS Office applications, especially Excel. Good experience with Power BI or Celenois is desirable.

Personal characteristics: A high level of self-initiative and willingness to take responsibility as well as teamwork and solution orientation

Language knowledge: You have English skills and knowledge of German in word and writing.

IT affinity: A high IT affinity and interest in digitization issues complete your profile.
