Consultant (m/w/d) Hospital Controlling / InEK Calculation – DRG, KHBV, Health Economics

For our clients, one of the largest hospitals in Europe, we are looking for an InEK calculator. In your role, you will take over, among other things, the centrally controlled creation and continuous development of InEK-compliant cost-carrying bills for the respective clinics. Furthermore, you define and implement central standards, guidelines and processes for inEK calculation in accordance with regulatory requirements (e.g. KHBV, DRG nomenclature). You take over the centrally controlled creation and continuous development of InEK-compliant cost-carrying bills for the respective locations

You develop global audit rules for systematic data validation, coordinate the InEK error protocol and support the houses in the efficient implementation of necessary data corrections

You define and implement central standards, guidelines and processes for inEK calculation in accordance with regulatory requirements (e.g. KHBV, DRG nomenclature), for a uniform and practical implementation of the controlling work on site

You build central dashboards and reportings with meaningful metrics in order to transparently control the data quality and to derive process improvements in the individual locations.

You are competent contact persons and advise stakeholders of all hierarchical levels on InEK-related issues

You navigate complex relationships clearly, solution-oriented and secure the transfer of knowledge between central and decentralized areas

A successfully completed study of business management, health economics, business informatics or a comparable qualification

A professional experience appropriate to the position in hospital controlling, in particular in the cost-benefit calculation according to InEK

Expertise of the InEK regulations, the DRG nomenclature and the KHBV principles

A structured, independent way of working with high quality standards as well as team skills and communication strength

An analytical way of thinking, pronounced numerical affinity and high accuracy in handling performance and financial data

A safe handling of MS Excel; ideally experience with KIS/calculation systems (e.g. ORBIS, SAP)

Experiences in business intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) and programming skills (e.g. Python)
