Freight forwarder / air freight clerk (m/w/d)

We are looking for an experienced person as an air freight specialist (m/w/d) with customer responsibility in an indefinite direct setting. In this position, you control operating air freight shipments and maintain strategic customers independently. In doing so, you combine classical processing with active customer support - targeted, solution-strong and at eye level.

Processing and monitoring of international air freight shipments in export and import (FAK) Creation and verification of transport documents (AWB, customs documents, commercial invoices) Customs processing according to international regulations incl. Voting with authorities Active support and further development of strategic stock customers Status reports, problem solutions and complaint processing Communication with airlines, agents, customers and internal interfaces Maintenance and documentation of all data in the forwarding system Support for quote calculations (Standard & Tender) Working with process optimization and quality assurance (KVP, QHSE)

Multiannual professional experience in air freight O ideally in export and import Safe handling of international air freight and customs processes, optionally also knowledge in the area of hazardous goods (DGR), perishable products or project loadings Experience in handling airlines and authorities, optional experience with ATLAS, AWB or other customs systems Knowledge of common forwarding and customs software and MS Office Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing Structured, independent and reliable operation Fun on team work, customer contact and solution-oriented work
