Senior Planner for Electrical Energy Systems – Railway Infrastructure Projects (m/f/d)

You take over the planning of electrical energy plants (EEA) for railway infrastructure in the performance phases 1–7 of HOAI, with deepening in design, approval and execution planning, including budget and appointment responsibility. You ensure compliance with the applicable guidelines, laws and regulations of DB AG, in particular Ril 954, Ril 997 and Ril 819, in the processing of the responsible projects. You participate in the design and planning of substations, switching posts, energy distributions as well as medium and low-voltage systems in the railway environment. You carry out electrotechnical calculations, such as short-circuit current, load flow, earthing or cable dimensioning calculations. You plan and document energy and control cable systems in the web context. You carry out technical coordination with DB Energie, Client:inside, internal departments, experts:inside and authorities. You coordinate interfaces with OLA, LST, transport systems, engineering and other structures. The management of project documentation, reporting, correspondence and meetings is also your responsibility. You work with modern planning tools (e.g. EPLASS) and ideally bring knowledge of BIM-based planning methods and interest in the further development of digital planning processes.

Complete studies in the field of electrical engineering, energy technology or a comparable qualification Multiannual practical experience in the planning of electrical energy installations, ideally in railway infrastructure or electrical infrastructure in rail transport Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations, in particular VDE, EBO and relevant EN standards and DB regulations Safe handling of popular planning and CAD tools (e.g. AutoCAD, MicroStation) and ideally first experience with BIM-based planning methods understanding of railway operations and the requirements for railway installations Knowledge of electrical network calculation programs (e.g. ETAP, NEPLAN) Enthusiasm for complex technical tasks and creative, holistic solutions Team spirit, communication joy and initiative Good language skills in German and English, in word and writing
