Become part of our team and design the industrial park of the future for textile production in Mönchengladbach. The Textilfabrik 7.0 project (www.t7-management.de) consists of several building blocks and development phases. Together with the University of Applied Sciences Niederrhein and RWTH Aachen, a technology centre for innovative and sustainable production processes is created. At the same time, EWMG and WFMG are working on the vision of a zero-emission industrial park of the future (T7 Park), whose development is to be promoted as part of the project advertised here to be ready for implementation (performance phase 0). You work at the interface of the two companies. The EWMG is a central player for the development of the residential and business location of Mönchengladbach. It opens up residential and commercial areas, accompanies construction projects holistic and strengthens urban development through land revitalization and the extraction of investors for innovative projects. As a majority shareholder, EWMG holds 51% at WFMG – Wirtschaftsförderung Mönchengladbach. WFMG acts as a private-public innovation and funding agency with the aim of creating and securing jobs in the city, as well as further developing the business location across the industry and in the future. You are responsible for an extensive expert report package in the performance phase 0 for the preparation of commercial development (T7 Park as Greenfield development). You are responsible for tendering, coordination and quality of the specialist planners and for the acceptance of the results. You take over the technical support of the external expert services. Based on your findings, you can independently create a model-based development guide for the zero emission industrial park of the future (T7 Park). You take over the project management at the interface to urban organizational units and departments as well as the WFMG. When building and maintaining a strong network, you will focus on an attractive area development while maintaining technical requirements. With your commitment and technical understanding, you will also present the project at trade and real estate fairs. You involve company needs for future settlements in your work and also collect them in direct discussions. From this You derive technical requirements for the T7 Park and include them in the guide and coordination of experts (performance phase 0 of the business area development; before the construction plan).

You have successfully completed your studies in urban planning, civil engineering, architecture or comparable. With relevant experience in project management, ideally in the field of sustainable urban development or industrial area development, you can use your communicative skills in German and English specifically and represent your position profitable. With the right level of self-initiative, you also convince us with your responsible appearance and an analytical and structured way of thinking and action. At the same time, you also appreciate the work in the team. Knowledge about sustainable energy supply, digitalization, circular economy and zero emission concepts is also desirable.
