Employee Internal Audit – Financial Services (all genders)

You will become part of the new team at Forvis Mazars, which expands and expands the field of audit-related consulting with a focus on financial services throughout Germany. From the outset, you will be involved in various (partial) projects for consulting and testing internal audit units. The central focus of your work is the execution of individual audits, the support in the complete takeover of the audit function and the implementation of quality assessments according to DIIR 3 or IDW PS 983. Future topics such as ESG and digitalization and their impact on future revision work are also the focus of your activity in these contexts. The clients you will advise are both national and international banks, financial service providers, asset management and real estate companies of different sizes. Last but not least, there are large spaces for the proactive co-design of the team and our range of advice.

Successfully completed studies, preferably economics with the focus on finance, controlling, accounting and/or auditing Practical experience in auditing companies and/or internal audit units ideally in the field of financial services Special interest in current financial services topics and practical and theoretical experience in audit areas, e.g. Credit, trading, compliance, money laundering, IT, risk management, controlling, personnel, IKS, outsourcing management etc. A strong analytical mindset and willingness to work on complex topics and projects Motivation and ability to link processes to regulatory requirements Very good communication skills in German and English
