The property 24.5 “Cyber Defense” is responsible for operational IT security in the department 24 “IT Operations” with the three main areas of security gateway, protection against malicious programs and PolCERT. The tasks of the body to be occupied are: Installation, administration, maintenance and support in the further development of security-relevant system components with the focus on firewall, proxy and DNS infrastructure Support in the design and planning of infrastructures with regard to future requirements and safety-relevant developments Qualified technical problem analysis for system maintenance and optimization Ensuring confidentiality, integrity and availability Participation in cross-organisational projects and acquisition of subprojects within the framework of the security infrastructure Support and advice from police authorities in NRW for operational IT security

You have a successfully completed (specialized) university degree (Bachelor or corresponding university degree) in the field of IT security, computer science, communication / communication technology or a comparable degree course or You have a successfully completed vocational training plus a completed further training for the state-tested technician / the state-tested technician (w/m/d) or a comparable relevant advancement or You have a successfully completed vocational training in the field of computer science, communication / communication technology or in a comparable field and at least three years relevant professional experience and consent to participation in a readiness to call Car Lead Certificate (Grades B) To this end, you should be prepared to carry out an extended safety review (SÜ 2).
