For our waste collection business, we are looking for a:n Specialist:in for business unit development and project management (w/m/d)Entgeltgruppe 13 TVöD VKA As a specialist for business unit development and project management of our waste collection business unit, you work in the department for development & IT coordination at the interface between IT, digitalization and innovation. Here we are responsible for ensuring the efficiency and further development of the specific IT systems of the business unit and ensuring that our applications work smoothly – and at the same time we actively shape the change towards efficient, practical and customer-oriented working methods. You will be part of a team that sees reliable operation and forward-looking changes not as opposites, but intelligently interconnects. Together with our other areas and with the management, you bring ideas to the streets and help us improve our services for Berlin in a sustainable manner.

Identify ideas and proposals as well as supportive concept development on strategic further development potentials while simultaneously considering digital, innovative and modern process processes, economics and building/work organisation in coordination and cooperation with the management of business units and the specialist departments of the area Objective and results-oriented accompanying projects and guiding smaller (partial) projects as well as cross-group and interdisciplinary control of the work and planning process Developing new logistics, re-use and recycling products Taxes of the transformation and the associated conceptual decisions for communication, including internal and overlapping interconnections Support company-wide cultural development and necessary change processes as a result of the implementation of company-wide concepts on different issues

Completed scientific higher education (uni-diploma / master) of the degree course of economic engineering, e.g. field of mechanical engineering or economics with a focus on logistics or the proof of recognition as “other:r employees:r” Professional experience in waste management logistics and several years of experience in project management Knowledge of modern methods, techniques and processes in logistics or waste management as well as safety in the use of different moderation and presentation techniques Embossed communicative skills, analytical thinking and a high level of team orientation

Remuneration: We pay according to TVöD VKA with regular salary increases, an annual special payment and an additional occupational pension (VBL). Hybrid work: Mobile work is a reality with us.
