As a solution architect*in for the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), you take responsibility for future-oriented, scalable solution architectures with a strong focus on self-developments and bring your experience from classic software development into cloud and integration scenarios. You design end-to-end architectures on the SAP BTP, evaluate technical options and ensure that the overall architecture remains stable, expandable and performant. In the development, you are actively involved, instead of acting exclusively conceptually or in governance roles, and realize side-by-side extensions for SAP S/4HANA, cloud-native applications as well as integration and interface solutions. You can use Agentic Coding, SAP CAP (Node.js / Java), UI5 / Fiori and ABAP (classical as well as ABAP RESTful / RAP), define clear development standards and guide architecture principles as well as best practices. You work closely with specialist departments, developers and other architects, evaluate new SAP BTP services and innovations and support code reviews, technical decisions and performance and security issues.

Complete studies of computer science, business informatics or comparable training as well as multiannual experience as a software developer*in or Tech Lead, ideally with subsequent acquisition of architectural responsibility Very good knowledge of one or more classic development technologies, for example ABAP (classic, object-oriented), Java, JavaScript or Node.js Founded practical experience with the SAP Business Technology Platform, for example with CAP, Kyma, Cloud Foundry and components such as Integration Suite, Eventing and Destinations Secure understanding of modern software architectures, including cloud architectures, microservices, APIs and integration concepts, complements DevOps and CI/CD know-how such as git, pipelines and automated testing Flowing German (C1) and very good English (B2) in word and writing
