As an independent staff function and key function according to Solvency II, the risk management function of Allianz Lebensversicherungs-AG sets the framework conditions in which the management of risks has to take place along the entire value chain.

Operational risks can sustainably damage the reputation of a company and even threaten the existence in extreme cases. Over the past few years, the management of non-financial risks has gained considerable importance through the VAIT and the DORA (Digital Operational Resilience Act) regulations. As Senior ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) Risk Manager (m/w/d), you play a key role in managing ICT risks within the risk management function. Senior IKT Risk Manager (m/w/d) Central contact person for developing and securing risk monitoring for ICT risk management within the 2nd Line of Defense Provision of quarterly and ad hoc reports on the internal control system focusing on ICT processes and ICT incidents Monitoring and further development of risk policies and standards, ensuring a transparent and effective identification of ICT risks and the appropriate remediation action Cooperation with the 1st Line of Defense in identifying key and emerging ICT risks, including appropriate measures embedded in the internal control system, in accordance with the defined risk appetite Participation in relevant committees/sessions and workshops on risk assessment, analysis of new risks

This is what you bring with you as Senior IKT Risk Manager (m/w/d) University or technical college degree, ideally with scientific, (economic) informatics or business orientation Long-term experience in the financial services sector or Risk management or audit Funded knowledge in operational risk management and implementation or execution of internal control systems, regulatory reporting with focus on IT, information security, business continuity management, third party risk management Detectable experience in the development and implementation of risk assessment processes and the introduction of ICT and third party risk management processes Regulatory competence - experience in the analysis and implementation of regulatory requirements (e.g. VAIT, DORA, MaGO, or equivalent requirements for banks) safe occurrence, high degree of self-organisation and independent work; Agiles Mindset, willingness to identify and implement measures to simplify and reduce complexity in processes, projects and tasks Interest in developing your knowledge in using new technologies such as Artificial Intelligence or Internal ChatGPT. Very good German and good English skills
