As Tax Manager Germany (w/m/d) you will occupy a central function with high visibility in the company. You connect operational taxation with strategic development together with internal departments and external partners. The next step for tax experts: with a well-founded practical experience that would like to build up its own responsibility – with the retention of an international group and the short paths of a medium-sized company. In your role as Tax Manager (m/w/d) for ALTRAD Germany GmbH, you will help build a modern tax function within our internationally active group. In this newly created position, you take responsibility for tax support with a focus on the German companies and create the basis for an efficient, legally secure and forward-looking tax organization. You work in close coordination with the financial organization, management and external tax partners and develop the control function of the organization step by step. These are your tasks: Active participation in the construction and strategic development of the tax function for our German companies. Tax consultancy of management and departments as well as further development of tax strategy and tax planning. Responsibility for the creation and verification of tax returns and the tax accompaniment of annual accounts and provisions. Coordination of audits and professional cooperation with financial authorities, auditors and external tax advice. Tax accompaniment of company decisions, distributions and other company law measures. Identification of tax risks, development of optimization potentials and further development of tax compliance processes and introduction of digital tools.

Take this with you: Completed studies with a focus on taxes, finance, law or a comparable discipline. Multiannual professional experience in taxation, e.g. in a tax consultancy company, a specialist or in the financial sector of a company. Knowledge of German tax law and a secure understanding of international tax relationships. Practical experience in the preparation of tax returns and annual accounts and the monitoring of audits. Self-employed, structured working and the ability to keep an eye on the essentials combined with a high quality approach. Good knowledge of English and a sovereign communication with internal and external contacts.
