Design and processing of the data protection matters of the university in cooperation with the central and specialist departments Ensuring coordination processes with the data protection officer Advising the university management in questions of data protection Coordination and consultation of the Working Group on Data Protection and Information Security Processing of external requests with data protection including requests for information pursuant to Art 15 GDPR, requests from other authorities, police and prosecutors Representation of the university before the Hessian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, the IT association of the Hessian universities and other authorities in the field of data protection Ensuring the topicality and completeness of the directorate of the processing activities of the university, developing a deletion concept and optimising consent management Quality assurance and development of data protection processes Processing of possible data protection incidents Notification of requests and independent implementation of objection and action in the field of data protection Processing of tasks in the judiciary with reference to general university law, labor and service law, contract law, examination and design of statutes of the university

Minimum requirement: First and Second Law Exams or Masters in Law (LLM) with relevant priorities, in particular in the field of data protection law In principle, the body is also suitable for professional starters: women, relevant professional experience or study focus on IT/data protection law or comprehensive expertise in the field of data protection law, as well as knowledge about organisational and technical issues related to data processing operations are of advantage The ability to quickly build and maintain networks Quick conception and pronounced analytical skills as well as ability to quickly adjust to new situations Independent, structured and solution-oriented mode of operation Embossed service and consulting orientation Routined handling of MS Office Good knowledge of English is desirable
