From planning to implementation, you coordinate work on electro- and automation systems and ensure that internal departments and external partners play together optimally. Quality and safety are kept in mind at any time: Relevant operating parameters are captured, evaluated and documented by you so that the systems can be operated reliably and in accordance with standards. Whether maintenance, inspection or preventive maintenance – with your technical application you create the conditions for high plant availability and avoid unplanned shutdowns. However, if there is a disturbance, go systematically to the cause, develop suitable solutions and bring the systems back into a stable operating state quickly and sustainably. Your expertise is also required for plant changes and technical projects: you accompany assembly activities and contractors and consistently respect quality, safety and appointments. As a connecting interface, you agree on technical measures with the participating contact persons and thus create clear processes and reliable implementation in ongoing plant operation.

The technical basis forms a successfully completed further development to the technician of electrical engineering or automation technology or a completed engineering study, for example in electrical engineering, automation technology or control and control technology. First experience in electrical, automation or maintenance technology, ideally in an industrial plant environment, will make it easier to get into the versatile tasks. You quickly capture technical relationships and bring a good understanding of electrotechnical and automation systems, so that you can also analyze more complex disturbances in a structured manner. Knowledge of measurement, control and control technology as well as first points of contact with PLC or process control systems are ideal for quickly working into the existing plant technology. Experience in the coordination of technical work or in cooperation with external service providers helps you to reliably accompany measures and to keep in mind different interfaces. With an independent, structured and responsible way of working as well as strong communication and team skills, you can also keep track of parallel maintenance and project tasks.
