From 01.07.2026 we are looking for parttime (29.8725 hours/week = 75%) Senior Consultant (m/w/d) im Fach Altes Testament The SFB 1475 is looking for a doctoral student (w/m/d) in parttime (29.8725 hours/week=75 %) in the department of the Old Testament for employment as a scientific assistant (m/w/d) at the Faculty of Evangelical Theology (chair Prof. Dr. Joachim Krause).The SFB 1475 “Metaphors of Research” is a research project in 1975. He bundles expertise from religious science, various philologies, digital humanities and computer linguistics to investigate how metaphors shape religious sensual processes. Research is carried out both historically and culturally comparable and using advanced computer linguistic methods. Subject to funding by the German Research Foundation (DFG), the SFB 1475 in the subproject C08 “Metaphors for God in the Emergent Prophecy of Doom: The Book of Amos as a Landmark of Religious Meaning-Making” will be replaced by a Scientific Assistant (m/w/d) (Doktorandin m,w,d); TV-L 13, 75%). The project C08 analyses innovative metaphorical forms of language developed in the book Amos and aims at a comprehensive metaphorological examination.
