About 1,600 employees make our region a dynamic, intelligent network ready for the future and Baden-Württemberg an innovative power hub in the heart of Europe The area of plant operation is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the 380 and 220 kilovolt network for substations and free lines in the area. Furthermore, on behalf of the project management, we take over the quality control for commissioned construction measures on the network. The primary objective is to ensure trouble-free and accident-free operation while at the same time high plant availability. From the Wendlingen site we support the decentralized units in the area in their tasks.

They maintain, coordinate and monitor the maintenance and operation of the gas-insulated switching systems (GIS) of the high and high voltage network of TransnetBW GmbH. They develop operational instructions, guidelines and forms and ensure continuous improvement of processes and methods in plant operation. You provide your technical expertise to the operating units as a central contact person for GIS plants and answer questions about maintenance measures. They help with major disturbances, perform disturbance and damage analyses, create fault reports and develop suggestions for the maintenance program. They represent the interests of the plant operation of TransnetBW GmbH in internal bodies and projects.

They have completed an engineering degree in electrical engineering or have a comparable knowledge level thanks to professional experience in electrical power supply/plant engineering. They ideally provide practical knowledge in the maintenance and operation of high-voltage and high-voltage systems or are motivated to obtain this knowledge. They like to work in the team, have a high degree of social competence and are strong to assert. They have an independent way of working and a high sense of responsibility. You own the class B driver's license and bring travel readiness.
