IT System Administrator - Focus on Messaging & Windows Infrastructure (m/f/d)

You are responsible for the operation and further development of our hybrid exchange environment (Exchange On-Premise + Exchange Online) in a specialist team of Microsoft Exchange administrators, in particular for high availability, monitoring, troubleshooting, migration and rollouts; administrate our Active Directory landscape, user, group, GPO and authorization management as well as domain architecture, SSO concepts, and integration with identity management systems; You manage certificates and PKI solutions and issue the extension, rotation of certificates for services and servers; also ensure the encryption of internal communication paths; You are responsible for operating our Windows Server infrastructure (2016–2025) in a specialist team; patch management, high availability (failover clustering), performance monitoring are your tasks; You support migration and modernisation projects and help modernise our infrastructure on-premise and cloud automation and take over recurring tasks with respect to compliance; ensure smooth operations – you provide a smooth e-mail operation, take over the configuration and care of SPF, DKIM, DMARC as well as integration with modern security solutions and ensure compliance with BSI guidelines and M3AAWG standards; You are part of the team – working closely with the network and security team on topics such as firewall rounds, network configurations and security architectures

Your education – you have a successfully completed study of computer science, business informatics or a comparable training with a focus on IT systems. Your experience – you can look back on an at least 4-year practical experience in operating Exchange Servers in hybrid environments. You have experience in the administration, monitoring, troubleshooting and high availability of Microsoft Exchange on Premise and Exchange Online. You have well-founded knowledge in the field of e-mail security (BSI, M3AAWG, SPF, DKIM, DMARC) and their correct implementation. The management of certificates and PKI solutions, ideally with practical use in business environments, is nothing new for you. You also have knowledge in the Windows Server environment over several versions, including patch management, monitoring and high availability; You have experience and knowledge in the administration of virtualization environments, preferably based on VMware vSphere with focus on performance, scalability and security, as well as practical experience in managing Active Directory, including user management, group guidelines, domain architectures, authorization management, SSO concepts and association with identity management systems. Your personality – you are very strongly service-oriented and can easily abstract and represent complex facts on the essentials. Organizational and communication strengths are just as self-sufficiency, and a convincing appearance at our internal customers. Own initiative and solution orientation complete your profile. Your know-how – you have a good technical understanding of network bases, firewalls, routing and security concepts. You have a high service orientation according to ITIL, analytical thinking and pronounced problem-solving competence.You have excellent knowledge in client operating systems and with Windows server systems, good knowledge in software deployment with MS Intune, ITIL Foundation knowledge.
