For our location in Cologne, we are looking for a Cyber Security Expert (m/w/d) from 01.05.2025.

You will develop the IT (security) strategy with the team and encourage the implementation of the measures You can secure the operation of the security architecture with your colleagues and service providers (e.g. SIEM, NAC, Endpoint Protection, Identity Protection) You support audits and penetration tests, analyze the results and take action for the IT organization You regularly review the security measures, frameworks and tools to their effectiveness You recognize optimization potentials in the security architecture and implement improvements in projects You process security-relevant incidents in the context of the Incident Response processes and ensure their clarification

Education in the field of system integration, STEM studies or comparable qualifications Multiannual experience in IT security, ideally in Incident Response or Security Operations Funded knowledge in at least one of these areas: operation of IT security tools (e.g. SIEM, EDR, NAC) Windows and Mac OS environments (Client & Server) Virtualization (HyperV, VMware) Network security and firewalls (Fortigate, Juniper) Cloud Security (Azure, AWS, GCP)

Experience with Vulnerability Management, Security Monitoring and Forensics Structured and analytical methods and problem solving competence Very good German and good English skills
