Your tasks

  • You analyse the current state of science, industry and technology in connection with the market launch of sustainable, current-based aviation fuels (e-SAF) and thereby guides sound insights into politics and practice.
  • You advise on regulatory and political frameworks to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the transport sector, with particular focus on air transport and cross-sector maritime links.
  • Together with your colleagues, you develop innovative, interdisciplinary and sustainable solutions for challenges that airlines, refineries, e-SAF producers, airport operators and other companies in the industry have to face.
  • You advise the German Federal Government, European and other political decision-makers in technical and technical issues in the context of the transformation of air transport
  • You build the network of the PtX Lab with relevant actors from industry, science and politics at national, European and international level and continually strengthen it.

Your profile

  • Completed academic studies (Master or University Diploma)
  • Multiannual relevant professional experience in the aviation industry, policy or research
  • Significant interest in environmental and climate protection issues in the transport sector, particularly at the intersection of technology, business and politics
  • Very good English knowledge in word and writing as well as proven German knowledge at least at level B2
  • Quality and solution-oriented, independent working combined with joy in team work and cooperation
