The three-year dual study programme is a combination of the Bachelor's degree in Business Engineering and Sustainable Development at the University of Applied Sciences Osnabrück on Campus Lingen and the training as an industrial businessman at Westnetz GmbH. As an industrial engineer, you work on interfaces between business and technology. You will learn the targeted planning and control of technical and business projects and systems. Theoretical part: The study is modular and comprises two 10-week theoretical phases per year of study. In the first two years of study, both technical and economic principles are imparted. In the third year of study, the students focus on individual areas of work, which are oriented towards possible fields of work (e.g. project management, technical control, etc.). Practical part: In order to apply and deepen the theoretical study contents, practical training takes place in the various commercial and technical departments of Westnetz GmbH, also across locations. At the end of the second year of study, the examination is filed as an industrial clerk.
