Customs Expert/Customs Manager (m/w/d) with prospects

On behalf of an innovative, high-growth company from the digital logistics environment, we are looking for a customs expert / Customs Manager (m/w/d) with the prospect of taking over a leading role in the customs sector in the medium to long term.

Our client pursues the goal of transforming Customs from a purely supporting function to a real value driver. A specialist for customs (Import & Export) with personality and the will to develop this area in the medium term (currently 2 employees) is therefore being sought.

HAPEKO is the first address for professionals and managers in Germany. The focus of the activity is the creation of links between specialists and executives with a professional desire for change and suitable companies. HAPEKO (www.HAPEKO.de) is represented throughout Germany with more than 20 locations. Takeover and control of classic customs tasks such as customs documentation, audit management, and the processing of customer and partner requests. Close exchange with internal stakeholders (e.g. sales, technology, operations) and external partners and service providers. The aim is to seamlessly mesh the customs area with other business areas. Analysis and optimization of existing processes, identification of efficiency potentials and development of scalable, pragmatic solutions. In the medium term, in cooperation with the Head of Operations, you will contribute to the development of a future-oriented customs structure, including the possibility of setting your own topics and leading cross-sector projects. Takeover of leadership responsibility in a small, existing team is prospectively desired and planned.

A completed commercial training (e.g. Kauffmann for forwarding and logistics services, wholesale & foreign trader (m/w/d)), with relevant further training Professional experience in the customs field - ideally focusing on import/export processes, customs processing and cooperation with service providers. Embossed communication skills and the desire for professional and personal development. Strategic and process-oriented thinking combined with operational implementation strength. Own initiative, sense of responsibility and willingness to design
