The clinic for psychiatry, psychotherapy and psychosomatics is an academic teaching hospital of Charité-Universitätsmedizin Berlin. It includes 263 beds and places, including a crisis intervention, a station for dependency diseases and a station for diseases in the higher age of life. An early intervention and therapy centre (FRITZ am Urban) was set up, which offers a specialized stationary, semi-stationary and outpatient psychiatric offer for young people with first psychotic episodes. The clinic operates a therapy unit for dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) for people with borderline tracts and for interpersonal therapy (IPT) for people with depression. The Safewards concept was implemented and evaluated on the two acute stations. In the course of the station-equivalent treatment (StäB), 37 Hometreatment courses are available.
