Let's connect: Increase to 24 months, full-time, from now on, in our MB5 TUW department at Hannover / Germany as an actuary:in / mathematician:in accident, property and motor insurance. Technical Underwriting (TUW) supports the underwriting in particular for customers in the E+S Rück. The E+S Rück is part of the Hannover Re Group and discusses the German reinsurance business with a focus on accident, property and power insurance. This includes market and inventory analyses, pricing support in proprietary and non-propor­tional business and the development of service products. In our interdisciplinar team, experts work closely together in the fields of mathematics, medicine and insurance. The focus is on the German market. You are analysing markets in accident, property and motor insurance and deriving sound recommendations for action You will start inventory analyses focusing on the business of the E+S Rück and provide valuable insights into our departments You develop and optimally develop actuaryal tools, especially with R as well as in Excel and BI / MicroStrategy environments You actively shape the automation of underwriting processes and thus contribute to a future-oriented system landscape. You analyze the effects of Regulatorics (especially Solvency II) on the German reinsurance stock

Successful study of (economic) mathematics, economics or a comparable course of study Professional experience in (back) insurance and knowledge in accident, property and motor insurance In­structural knowledge, e.g. through DAV courses, CERA or a comparable qualification, ideally with completed DAV training Calculation and programming skills in R German at C2 and English at a reliable level Standing for occasional one- to two-day missions You work structured and self-contained and convince by your analytical way of thinking and your safe performance You may not meet all the requirements mentioned, but you will understand your expertise.
