The TiHo information and data processing service is the university's DV competence and service centre. It operates the network for language and data communication and provides the central IT services for employees and students of the university in all functional areas. This includes medical services (KIS and LIMS), teaching, research and administration. Your tasks as a deterrent management include: ensuring the smooth operation and continuous availability of the relevant IT infrastructure and its strategic further development Planning, control and implementation of IT hardware and software projects based on the University's IT strategy preparing and supporting the procurement of hardware and software and IT services; Design, updating, negotiation and verification of service and maintenance contracts Perception of the management tasks of the information and data processing service with currently 15 employees as service providers vis-à-vis the students and the organizational units Control of measures to ensure IT security in all areas of the university Advising university management on all aspects of maintenance, maintenance and investment planning Representation of the university at national and federal level with a view to cooperation Content and formal responsibility for IT training at TiHo

a completed academic degree (Master, Diploma) of Computer Science, Business Informatics, a comparable degree or comparable qualification Multiannual professional experience in a leading position in the IT sector, in particular detectable experience in providing infrastructure services of a research institution very good knowledge and multiannual experience in controlling large IT projects and structures Required expertise and personal skills excellent communication and leadership skills as well as negotiating and implementing strength strong analytical skills and solution-oriented work integrative skills and social competence You are drivers of digitalization language and writing and very good English skills Knowledge in the veterinary medical environment and/or clinical applications is advantageous
