The BBK is the head office of the Federal National Crisis Management Agency in Germany. We ensure the quality of crisis management in a central coordination role with federal, international and cross-sector partners. In view of this task, our interdisciplinary team is growing steadily. Health protection – We are constantly working to protect people's lives and health in the case of defence. By working on scientific, medical-tactical and political-strategic issues, you will have a significant impact on this. In carrying out your tasks, you are moving in the federal context of population protection, disaster relief and civil defence Conception – In cooperation with federal and regional ministries, you develop and harmonise concepts for health protection at national and international level. Medical material stockpiling – you develop the medical material stockpiling of the federal government. In addition to conventional scenarios, you also take into account CBRN (chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear) damages. Hazard analysis – You evaluate warfare, major damage events and disasters and derive recommendations for action from your findings – especially for the area of preventive planning. Knowledge management – By participating in scientific symposiums, seminars and working groups, as well as participating in committees, you are pushing forward technical exchanges on issues of health protection, including in the European and international context. You have a scientific university degree in the field of human medicine or pharmacy with an approval as a doctor or doctor or Pharmazeutin/pharmaceuticals or other scientific university studies (Master/ Diploma) successfully completed with reference to the task (e.g. the health economy or KaVoMa or with medical or pharmaceutical contents). You have been active in a medical, pharmaceutical or scientific field of work and have ideally already gained professional or voluntary experience regarding civil and civil protection issues. You have already carried out conceptual tasks, e.g. by participating in projects or creating a doctoral thesis, or were involved in implementing measures in the field of health protection. Good oral and written language skills (German C 1 and English B 2 according to GER) complete your profile. You are strong in communication and convince by safe appearance and presentation skills. Your own design and ownership are positive challenges for you. You like to work in the team and bring a strong social competence. Local service trips in Germany and abroad are open to you. In the case of exceptional requirements, you are willing to provide services in a flexible manner and outside normal working hours.
