independent planning, design and development of the high-level network infrastructure (LAN, WLAN, VPN, firewall) taking into account current security requirements and technical developments Analysis and evaluation of complex network architectures and development of sustainable optimization and security strategies Project management in the implementation of IT projects in the network area, including requirement management, time and resource planning and quality assurance Conception and implementation of network security measures, including the planning and implementation of firewall and access concepts, intrusion detection and prevention systems and their technical implementation strategic advice and support of faculties and research institutions on all issues relating to network infrastructure Coordination and control of external service companies in procurement and implementation processes Monitoring, error analysis and performance optimization of the network environment to ensure high-availability and efficient operation, including the necessary maintenance work Creation of concepts, documentation, operating manuals and safety guidelines

You have a successfully completed relevant university degree (e.g. Bachelor or FH Diploma), ideally in the field of computer science, or a comparable relevant qualification You already have experiences in network and firewall administration (ideally Fortinet, Extreme Networks (XOS, VOSS))) Ideally, you are already bringing knowledge about IT security and Network Acces Control You have very good knowledge of German and good English as well as a strong communication skills You have a class B driver's license, and you're always ready to travel to our offices.
