Structural Inspection Engineer (m/f/d)

Responsibility at the hub of the region: Secure the stability and security of the motorway infrastructure from our strategically located location in traffic lanes. Thanks to the direct connection to the A14 and A24 you can reach your workplace from Schwerin or Ludwigslust in no time.

Implementation, planning and organisation of building and special tests according to DIN 1076 in the branch area. Hand-close testing of buildings including Assessment of damage in terms of stability, road safety and durability and documentation in SIB-BW. Coordination of internal and external service providers (e.g. access technology, building materials laboratories, security companies). Development of measure recommendations for building conservation in close coordination with the specialist departments. Technical guidance of test technicians and support of engineers in construction engineering. Support for tenders and awards of audit services, including quality control and billing (iTwo).

Completed studies (Dipl.-Ing. [FH]/Bachelor) in civil engineering or comparable qualification. Multiannual professional experience in construction engineering, especially in bridge testing or maintenance. Knowledge of technical regulations (e.g. DIN 1076, ASB-ING) as well as the award and fees law (HOAI, VOB). Physical suitability for outdoor use (swivel freedom, terrain suitability) and readiness for G 41 examination. Safe handling of Microsoft Office and ideally SIB-BW and iTwo. Driving licence class B and readiness to travel ( occasionally also night / weekend work).

That would be desirable: A valid VFIB certificate for building testing. Experience with administrative processes in public road construction. Knowledge of data revision and the handling of CAB files. Willingness to acquire high-level workers' rights.

Group of charges: E12 The remuneration is carried out in accordance with the above-mentioned remuneration group.
