Gaming and virtual simulations are becoming increasingly important for the perception of brands and products. In particular in the field of commercial vehicles and logistics, games and digital platforms offer new opportunities to reach target groups and expand brand presence. As part of this bachelor thesis, you will explore the current positioning of MAN Truck & Bus in the gaming environment and develop a future-oriented strategy for our gaming and licensing activities.

Your tasks Analysis of the current presence of MAN Truck & Bus in the gaming landscape Creating a market overview of relevant games, platforms, publishers and licensees related to commercial vehicles, logistics, simulation and mobility Assessment of existing gaming and licensing activities with regard to brand fit, target audience address and strategic relevance Benchmark analysis of competitors and best practice examples from the automotive and commercial vehicle industry Investigation of the conformity of potential gaming partnerships with the brand values and the image of MAN Truck & Bus Development of a strategic recommendation for future MAN positioning within the gaming landscape Detection of criteria for future gaming collaborations as well as definition of activities that do not fit the brand profile of MAN Developing concrete recommendations for action for the orientation and further development of our gaming activities Critical analysis of existing pricing and licensing models and identification of optimization potentials Presentation of results and development of a feasible strategy concept for MAN Truck & Bus
