Senior Network Engineer - Juniper / Automation (m/f/d)

You are responsible for the design, development and safe operation of our sophisticated network and security infrastructure based on Juniper. You actively drive the automation of the network landscape by opting processes and deployments with Ansible and Python. You design and implement complex routing scenarios (BGP, OSPF) in the Datacenter and Backbone environment and ensure their stability. You control the life-cycle management of network components and evaluate new technologies to keep our infrastructure sustainable. In close cooperation with system and software engineering teams, you plan and implement changes in our staging and production environments.

You have completed a study or training in the IT field or have a comparable qualification through many years of professional experience. You own well-founded senior-level knowledge in the field of security infrastructure (e.g. firewalls) and are routined in handling the BGP and OSPF protocols. You can safely move into Linux and *BSD environments and implement automation solutions with Ansible and Python. You collect plus points with experience in the Datacenter environment or a relevant certification, such as Juniper (JNCIE). As you work closely in the team, fluent German skills (C1) are essential for clear communication.
