In the IT-Infrastructure team, I work with Engineers to ensure high availability, performance and security of our infrastructure. My tasks: Operation and maintenance: Responsibility for daily operation and maintenance of computer and storage systems based on VMWare and Netapp, monitoring and performance: monitoring of performance and capacity, identifying and eliminating bottlenecks, Incident Management: Investigation and Solution, Disorders and Problems in Computer and Storage Infrastructure, Service Request Fulfillment: Implementation of standard service requests, Change Execution: Planning, coordinating and implementing changes in the computer and storage environment according to change management processes, documentation: creation and maintenance of technical documentation, operating instructions and architecture diagrams; Project support: Support for infrastructure projects by providing computer and storage resources and technical know-how, Standby system: Participation in the 24 × 7 readiness for our computer and storage infrastructures.

completed studies or vocational training in the field of computer science or comparable discipline, Multiannual experience in managing and operating x86 server and SANs, preferably in a larger business environment, deep knowledge of server, virtualization and storage systems (e.g. HP, VMware, NetApp, Linux), expressed analytical and problem-solving capabilities, knowledge of the use of GitOps-based administration approaches and creation of playbooks / scripts (e.g. Ansible, PowerShell, Bash), automation of routine tasks, Language knowledge: German C2 and English B1.
