The Federal Agency for Real Estate Tasks (BImA) – Institution of Public Law – is the central real estate company of the federal government. The main areas of responsibility are the uniform real estate management, real estate management and real estate sales, as well as the forestry and nature-protection services of the property. Around 7,000 employees work in Germany for the BImA, distributed to the headquarters – headquartered in Bonn – and nine directorates as well as over 120 locations. The Federal Agency for Real Estate Tasks must not establish new civil servant relations.
