Head of Controlling (m/f/d)

As Head of Controlling (m/w/d), you take a central control function in our company. You are responsible for the planning, analysis and transparent presentation of our economic development across all societies. In doing so, you are Sparringspartner for management and executives, develop our controlling strategically and at the same time ensure operational excellence. In a dynamic omnichannel environment with stationary trade, e-commerce and logistics, you connect numbers, processes and people – with the aim of enabling informed decisions and ensuring sustainable growth. You're moving with us Strategic planning & control: You are responsible for annual and multiannual planning, including forecasts and scenario analyses, working closely with the management of the company's economic orientation. Cost, earnings and performance control: You analyze and control cost, margin and earnings structures – including the economic assessment of investments and business cases – and thereby initiate concrete, effective measures to optimize earnings. Reporting & Management Information: You provide transparent, consistent reporting and provide decision-relevant key figures and analytics for management and top management. Deviation & Action Management: You identify opportunities and risks at an early stage, analyzes deviations and accompany the implementation and effectiveness of control measures. Business Partnering & Interface Work: You act as an economic savings partner for specialist areas such as purchasing, logistics, IT and marketing as well as in close cooperation with accounting and finance and evaluates strategic initiatives from a financial perspective. Team leadership & further development: You guide and develop the controlling team professionally and disciplinefully with clear responsibility for orientation, further development and role understanding in the team and sustainably strengthen structures, methods and competencies in controlling.

Funded controlling and accounting expertise: You have well-founded knowledge in IFRS and HGB, move safely into commercial and accounting processes and bring multi-year controlling experience – ideally in a sophisticated commercial, omnichannel or e-commerce environment. Experience & System competency: You have gained more than five years of relevant professional experience, work very safely with SAP and use analysis and reporting tools routined for sound decision support. Analytical Strength & Methodological Work: You bring experience in project and transformation management, work structured and analytical and can convey complex financial situations clearly, understandably and addressably. Strategic thinking & business partnering: You connect operational proximity with a strategic vision and as a reliable Sparring partner, you will be able to focus on management and specialist areas. Leadership & Design Power: You have the pleasure of developing people, structures and controlling methods and making change active, responsible and clear, even in a changing organizational environment.
