Master Roofer / Construction Manager Roof Construction – Management & Organization (m/f/d)

Our client is an established medium-sized crafts company in Berlin for over 70 years. With around 100 employees and their own structures in roofing, painting and floor laying, the company stands for quality, reliability and modern working methods.

As part of a follow-up scheme, we are looking for a Head of Roofing (m/w/d), who takes responsibility, strengthens his team and develops the area professionally and economically. In this role you are organizational and leading – without standing on the roof every day. The position is located directly under the management and offers short decision-making and a lot of freedom of design.

Head of the Dachbau area with currently 11 employees deployment planning, personnel development and daily support of your team Ensure a clean and timely execution Examination and approval of offers and support in costing Control of the cost-effectiveness of all roofing projects Controlling, after-calculation and quality monitoring Close cooperation with the experienced roof cleater master Coordination of internal structures and external partners Introduction of practical digital processes that reduce paper work Optimization of existing processes (no theoretical concepts – concrete improvements)

Complete training as a rooftop master, technician or comparable qualification Multiannual experience in roof construction First leadership or team responsibility Commercial understanding (offers, costs, economic thinking) Knowledge of building and contract law (VOB/B) Experience with subcontractors Good basic digital knowledge – or pleasure to work on Clear communication, hand-on mentality and reliability
