Systems Engineer IT Server Infrastructure and Service Integration (m/f/d)

In your role, you are responsible for the design and system integration with the focus on complex IT systems on naval ships. You accompany our subcontractors throughout the process of order processing from system design to integration. Here you will set out derived requirements as well as specifications and test regulations. You check technical offers and support project management. You support system certifications. The planning and execution of commissioning and acceptances on board also falls within your task area.

You have a successfully completed degree in the field of computer science, electrical engineering, communications technology or bring a comparable qualification. You have professional experience in IT infrastructure, complex system architectures and virtualization solutions. You have knowledge of ider server/storage, virtualization (e.g. VM merchandise) and have experience in the administration of Linux/Windows servers. You are familiar with the integration of new applications and services in complex system landscapes and have first experience in project execution according to the V-model XT or similar development models. You like working in the team and enjoy sharing your knowledge and skills with others. You convince with responsibility, self-employment, flexibility and show your own initiative. Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing as well as routined handling of the current MS-Office programs are of course for the position. You are ready for occasional national and international missions, partly in the form of seafarers.
