As a test engineer, you are planning both optical and mechanical tests on eye protection devices (e.g. safety glasses, sunglasses or welding helmets) in accordance with the requirements of the applicable test standards in compliance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025. In your area of competence, there is a certain evaluation of the test results and product documentation according to the standard requirements and the preparation of the test reports. You develop and build independently test equipment for use in the test laboratory and take care of maintenance and repair of the test equipment. Their task profile also includes auditing of manufacturers (national and international). Depending on the project/test plan, you work independently or together with your teammates. You decide independently about the design of your workday, with a view to the respective appointment of your projects.

Complete engineering or scientific studies in the field of electrical engineering, physics, optics, measurement technology or comparable training Finded professional experience, ideally in a physical/mechanical/optical laboratory Knowledge of the operation of electrical, mechanical and optical measuring instruments Knowledge of measuring uncertainty in mechanical, electrical/electronic and optical testing methods is desirable Careful working methods, large initiative paired with the willingness to incorporate into new themes to expand your own knowledge horizon Very good knowledge of German and good knowledge of English in word and writing
