The Field Application Engineer markets complex, technical products and convinces customers with deep technical expertise and strong sales knowledge in the field of electrical installation. The FAE offers practical and individual solutions for our customers and helps in the planning of technical products in the area of Free@Home, Welcome IP/2 wire and KNX systems as well as the selection of suitable energy management systems. The FAE is in close coordination with account managers and customers.

You are mainly responsible for:

Technical sales and link between ABB and customer product solution Technical advice, planning and support for ABB products and systems Technical specialist with application and product orientation Hands-On Training and on site or Online training of customers in the field, in cooperation with PM and Account Manager Training and support of account managers Conversion of competitive products to deliver offers Market monitoring for specific solutions in the field and corresponding support for the segments and the product marketing sector in new and further developments

Master electrical engineering / technician / electrical or economic engineer / technical training Knowledge of market structures and products in the field of smart home, building system technology Priority in the field of energy management systems Very good German knowledge, basic knowledge English Ready for business trips and trade fair appearances (at least 70%)
