Deputy Head of Youth Welfare (m/f/d)

For our dedicated team, we are looking for a personality that supports the operational management of our youth assistance offerings responsibly, coordinates processes and develops sustainable solutions together with professionals and institutions. We are an accredited freelance of child and youth assistance and operate in Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein day care centres, youth aid institutions, mother-father-child institutions and the Findelbaby project with its three baby flaps.

Specialist & Supervision Participation in quality development and improvement Implementation of the concepts, objectives & quality standards in the institutions Organization & process optimization (optimization of workflows, interface management, reporting) Human resources management: management, supervision, further development of the team, employee involvement, resource planning and conflict management Budget and resource management: Planning and control of the budget, procurement of resources, efficient use of personnel and materials Cooperation and networking: cooperation with schools, institutions, youth offices, free institutions, networks in the community, parents and youth Legal and ethical responsibility: compliance with statutory requirements (e.g. SGB VIII), data protection, child welfare, risk and crisis management

Studies as a Diplom-Social pedagogue*in or B. A./M. A. in Social Work or Childhood Education multiannual professional and leadership experience in child and youth assistance Practical knowledge of the economic and organisational management of a youth assistance institution Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations Experience in handling modern office communication Basic knowledge of data protection regulations Communication, collaborative and reflective ability, commitment, loyalty, conflictability Management and consulting skills You have an independent and responsible working style, in which you respond to employees with appreciation
