Application: Education Location: Düsseldorf Job-ID: 19263 You develop process engineering solutions and digital methods for the Black Production System You document solutions and concepts for modern production facilities and develop projects that you also implement in practice Using OPEX methods and/or Lean, you analyze complex problems at the interfaces of our thermal, mechanical or chemical processes You gain an understanding of the relationships between the different production areas, the supply of raw materials and their optimization potentials In the course of your studies, you will acquire comprehensive knowledge about production processes, thermodynamics, measurement and control technology, lean management, industry 4.0, data analysis and plant simulations In addition, you will learn methodological methods for problem analysis, solution finding and decision-making in process optimization You deepen your knowledge in a specific area of modern process technology (e.g. sustainable process management, intelligent sensor technology, digital twins of plants) At the end, you will start a graduate thesis on a relevant topic in the field of process engineering

a successfully completed general university maturity with good grades in the scientific subjects great interest in technical processes, digitalization, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and/or IT ideally, you already have first experience in the manufacturing industry (e.g. through an internship) Lust for digitalization, production as well as exciting tasks and good knowledge in the current MS Office programs Reliability, communicative appearance and a pronounced WIR feel complete your profile
