We are now looking for this in full time at the Munich location: As an employee of the Risk Controlling & Limit Management Team, you complement the methodological & operational competence for controlling the Munich Re investments.

Make the future with us:

• Methods and Process Responsibility: Calculation of Market Risk Potential for Audiences and Special Funds in accordance with the Investment Code and Derivatives Regulation by Risk Metrics incl. Backtesting and stress tests
• Liquidity risk measurement and control: assets of the Munich Re Group and special and public funds incl. Stress testing
• Risk monitoring and control: for our first and second-life insurance customers with consideration of all asset classes managed by MEAG such as shares, bonds, real estate, alternative investments and associated derivatives, as well as all risk dimensions (including market, credit and economic and balance-sheet risks)
• Close cooperation with other departments of MEAG and within the Munich Re Group
• Participation in transnational projects

• Complete study of financial mathematics and related studies with quantitative focus
• First professional experience in risk controlling or in a comparable function desirable but no condition
• Good programming knowledge, ideally in Python and R, SAP knowledge desirable
• Enthusiasm for innovation in the technical field as well as strong team spirit with fun in cooperation
• Good communication capability, loadability
• Very good knowledge of English and German (C1) in word and writing
