Employee in the Customs & Export Control department (m/f/d)

Responsibility for the management, monitoring and operational handling of all import and export operations including the creation of import and export declarations and the monitoring of the LEONI customs system Examination, release and archiving of tax rulings, consignment documents and service invoices, as well as application for refunds and repayments of import duties Creation of the Intrastat notifications for all EU countries where LEONI is registered as a sales tax, including the coordination of relevant data with the tax department Support for national and international organisational units in customs matters and customs and tax inspections Implementation of preferential calculations for the evaluation and optimization of logistical concepts Maintenance, administration and application of customs authorisations and ensuring compliance with customs requirements Participation in the development and implementation of new customs concepts for works, countries and supply chains and support in the design of efficient logistics and customs processes Training and advice from colleagues and external service providers in the handling of the LEONI Customs System

Successfully completed studies with first relevant professional experience or completed vocational training, e.g. as a foreign trade or forwarding businessman/wife Knowledge of national and international customs law including EU customs legislation (UCC/UZK) Good knowledge of EU turnover tax law in cross-border trade Safe handling of customs, export control and foreign trade regulations Experience in the application of compliance and governance requirements A structured and solution-oriented way of thinking Practical experience in the analysis, optimization and standardization of business processes as well as a high process understanding and a pronounced orientation to improve workflows Standing for occasional shiftwork and flexible working hours German and English knowledge in word and writing
